What is it about?

Kuronuma Sawako is completely misunderstood by her classmates. Her timid and sweet demeanor is often mistaken for malicious behavior. This is due to her resemblance to the ghost girl from “The Ring”, which has led her peers to give her the nickname Sadako. Longing to make friends and live a normal life, she is naturally drawn to Kazehaya Shouta, the most popular guy in class, whose “100% refreshing” personality earns him great admiration from Sawako. So when Kazehaya starts talking to her, maybe there is hope for the friendships Sawako has always longed for. Maybe…there is even a little hope for some romance in her future.

What did I think about it?

A – DO – RA – BLE. That is actually all I should say about it, but I will give you a little bit more information. This anime is all about being misunderstood and standing up for yourself. The main character is so sweet yet clueless you can not NOT love her. Her incapability to understand the feelings of others, or of her own for that matter, makes her so likeable you’ll just want to reach through the screen and give her a pet on the head.

The combination of her cluelessness and the insecurity of the guy make for an adorable romance which you’ll start rooting for from episode one. My advice: if you’re feeling down, watch it so it can make you feel better. If you’re feeling stupid because you misunderstood someone’s intentions, watch it so you know you’re not that stupid.
