What is it about?

Ryuuji Takasu is a gentle high school student with a love for housework; but in contrast to his kind nature, he has an intimidating face that often gets him labeled as a delinquent. On the other hand is Taiga Aisaka, a small, doll-like student, who is anything but a cute and fragile girl. Equipped with a wooden katana and feisty personality, Taiga is known throughout the school as the “Palmtop Tiger.”

One day, an embarrassing mistake causes the two students to cross paths. Ryuuji discovers that Taiga actually has a sweet side: she has a crush on the popular vice president, Yuusaku Kitamura, who happens to be his best friend. But things only get crazier when Ryuuji reveals that he has a crush on Minori Kushieda—Taiga’s best friend!

Toradora! is a romantic comedy that follows this odd duo as they embark on a quest to help each other with their respective crushes, forming an unlikely alliance in the process.

What did I think?

This anime makes a tsundere girlfriend look so cute that I want to have one myself. Even though I’m not into girls. It’s just that you can not NOT like Taiga! Especially when she’s interacting with Ryuuji. They are so adorable together!

I love this anime, it is the second time I’ve watched it and it is just as funny as the first time. The fact that Ryuuji and Taiga are totally oblivious that they’re clearly meant to be together makes you root for them even more.

The supporting characters are extremely likeable. Just like me they were rooting for Ryuuji and Taiga even though that isn’t the best thing for themselves, which off course makes you like them as well. In between all that romance drama is a funny slice of life anime with a good plot and colorful art. Taiga is so adorable and badass at the same time and almost everything she does makes you laugh.

If you’re looking for a good slice of life anime with a tsundere in it. Toradora is the one to see!
