What is it about?

After 2000 years have passed, the ruthless demon lord has just been reincarnated! But his aptitude at an academy for nurturing candidates for demon lords is, “inept”!?

Having the capability to destroy humans, elementals, and gods, after a long period of countless wars and strife, Arnos the demon lord became sick and tired of all that and longed for a peaceful world, so he decided to reincarnate to the future.

However, what awaited him after his reincarnation is a world too used to peace that his descendants became too weak due to a huge weakening in magical powers.

What did I think?

This anime started really promising. It started of looking like another fun harem fantasy anime with a good sense of humor.  I was really excited and couldn’t wait to see the other episodes.

The main character is completely overpowered and super confident. I really love that in a harem anime. The two female MC’s were a nice contrast with one being a tsundere and kuudere. The whole group was a fun dynamic to watch.

I also thought both the intro and the outro were very fun to watch.

The anime stayed really good until episode 6 or 7, this is when I thought it kinda got boring. It was always kinda the same and the characters just stopped developing.

I also thought the story got a little bit too complicated. Not everything made sence anymore (it almost felt like they skipped some parts of the story to make it fit in one episode). It wasn’t necessarily bad, it just wasn’t as good as in the beginning.

Overall I would call the anime average at best. It had very promising potential, but somewhere it felt like the writers got lost in their own story.
